Looking for a fun, energetic and supportive group of athletes
to train and enjoy life with? Look no further!
You have found your match with the IronEdge Tri Team.
What a difference a season makes! After three summers of training myself for Olympic distance triathlons, I decided to take the next step and start training with Heather and the IronEdge team. In one season, I had 3 PRs and have fallen in love with triathlon all over again. From swim analysis and drills to time trialing and nutrition, Heather has been able to improve all aspects of my race and training. In the IronEdge team, I found a group of positive people of all abilities who supported each other like family. If you want to take your training to the next level, give IronEdge a TRI.

My Key 2015 Races: Steamboat Triathlon at Lake Catamount – Sprint, Steamboat Women’s Xterra (my first off-road triathlon!)
This is how I got into the sport: I’d wanted to do a triathlon for a few years. A couple summers ago a friend invited me to do a sprint back in FL so I said yes without hesitation! I loved how welcoming the whole triathlon community was, everyone was so eager to help a beginner. I also love the cross-training aspect which is why I want to continue with the sport.
Three things you will always find in my gym bag: chapstick, sunscreen, towels
My favorite post race indulgence: a bagel
My favorite aspect of being on the IronEdge Tri Team: The camaraderie and support from everybody on the team is incredible. It’s a team that not only likes to train together but also has each other’s backs outside of the triathlon world.
My athletic goal: To run a sub-8 minute pace at Catamount; ride a century this summer; and to win my division at the Steamboat Doubles volleyball tournament!
My inspiration: This year my inspiration is getting back to a sub-8 minute running pace!
My favorite type of workout: the kind where you know you gave it everything you got, drenched in sweat, endorphins like crazy
My greatest athletic accomplishment: High school volleyball team winning the State Championship
My favorite IronEdge moment (thus far): Tri the Boat last year was one of my favorite moments. I was on the event staff side of things that day with a bunch of teammates, while other teammates were racing. The energy that day was off the charts and it was one of those days that reminds you of all the reasons you love doing triathlon.
